Ronnie had never worked in the eyelash industry before joining MYSTIQ in 2017.
In just a few short months, she's become an incredible asset to the company, and is fast becoming an expert in eyelash extension products and supplies.
But there's more to her job than just knowing the products. In this interview, we discuss the secret sauce that makes her so amazing at what she does.
Q: Tell me a bit about yourself.
A: My name is Ronnie and I am the Logistics Administrator at MYSTIQ.
It’s my job to make sure that all of our customers receive their orders correctly, beautifully and on time.
I’m passionate about customer service, I don’t like to think that someone could be unhappy with their service if there’s something I can do to fix it.
Q: Did you know about eyelash extensions before working in the industry? What did you think?
A: I didn’t know a lot about eyelash extensions before joining MYSTIQ,other than the fact that I love wearing them! I've worn lashes consistently for over seven years and would never be without them. Even though I didn't know much about the products themselves, I was keen to learn.
Q: What’s something that surprised you about lash products/the lash industry?
A: I think that the biggest challenge I was faced with was getting my head around all of the different Fans, Diameters, Curls (C, D, B, L, CC) 2D – 5D, Volume Lashes, Classic Lashes,Flat Lashes... so many lashes!
I’ve learned a lot about these since joining MYSTIQ, Sasha is a good teacher.
Q: What is it about being a part of lash industry that you love the most?
A: The best part of being in this industry is the fact that you realise that there are so many lovely people out there. Every customer that I have had the opportunity to assemble their order have all played a part in my learning experience.
Q: What do you think makes a good Logistics Administrator?
A: At the end of the day, the Logistics Administrator has to care about the customer's total experience. From communication about their order, the speed of dispatch, to the beautiful packaging and accuracy of their order.
My focus is all about letting our customers know how grateful we are for their custom, and to make their shopping experience with us as smooth as possible.
So it turns out the secret sauce is simply caring. Ronnie genuinely cares about each and every customer she serves, and always goes above and beyond to make their experience as smooth and easy as possible.
You don't need to be a lash veteran to care about people, but you do need a big heart and Ronnie certainly has that.
